Samsung Electronics Developed CPU for Digital TV Set

Samsung Electronics announced on the 21st that it succeeded in developing a Central Processing Unit (CPU) for Digital TV that will lead the next generation video culture.

This unit is highly efficient with 200MHz speed of processing and 100MHz speed of sending and receiving data, and characterized by built-in memory, input and output units, sending and receiving lines adapting advanced System on Chip (SOC) technology.

Samsung Electronics is likely to have positive influence on price competitiveness of domestic digital TV producers with this development of the unit.
