The class, preparing for entering Chinese Tsinghua University, of Korea China Study Abroad Service in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul in the morning of 19th. 10 students, who graduated from high school this year, are absorbed in basic conversation lesson repeating after the instructor. In the next classroom, 20 students, who are to enter Chinese Renmin University, are taking a Chinese test.

With `China boom` Chinese colleges are actively collecting Korean high school graduates providing exceptional favorable conditions like exemption of entrance exam and admission by donation.

▽Collect Korean high school students = Tsinghua Univ. introduced a study in China program, which enables the students proceed to sophomore in Chinese language department for foreign students in main school 1 year after taking 40 credits in Korea since March this year. 70 high school graduates already registered for the program, whose quota is 200 persons.

Chinese Beijing Union University opened cyber educational course in Korea, and will collect 700 persons for 4 departments of laws, economics, Chinese literature and history. 50 high school students have applied for the course, and admission briefing will be given 2 times due to lots of inquiries.

But some Universities ask for donation providing `admission without exam` and came up the brokers who charge commission of 50 million won as a cost for recommendation to Chinese high-ranked Universities.

Chinese Senyang Engineering College is collecting 300 students from 10 high schools in metropolitan area since last month. To get an admission for Chinese Universities, language skill grading 6 to 8 in HSK along with final exam is required, but this University advertises that those who pay school fee and donate 3.5 million won can get admission.

▽Deepening excess import of students = While Chinese Universities are making great efforts to collect Korean students who want to study in China, domestic Universities attracted rather few Chinese students due to the complicated procedure to get a visa. 400 persons gathered in the University briefing that the University M in Chungnam province held in Sonyang and Sandung in China, but only 10 students met the standard for getting a visa, and got admissions.
