Representatives Kim Yong-Han – Kang Chang Hui, Announce Joining GNP Today

New Millennium Party representative Kim Yong-Hwan and independent Assembly member Kang Chang-Hui are expected to hold a press conference at the National Assembly and officially announce their joining the Grand National Party.

Representative Kim and Mr. Kang announced that they made the decision after meeting on October 18 and discussing their course of action from this point forward. If the two representatives join the GNP, the GNP will have 133 seats in the National Assembly (270 seats total), only three seats less than half the total number.

Representative Kim spoke with the reporter on the phone and said, ``This is a decision that I made after a long time of consideration. I will formally join the party around the beginning of next week after announcing the decision, speaking to the Millenium Party members, and submitting the reports on the districts.``
