High Officials of Former Ruling Party Received Political Fund from Lee Yong-Ho

Rep. Kim Ok-Doo of the New Millennium Democratic Party requested for the Prosecutors` investigation, saying ``Lee Yong-Ho, CEO of G&G, provided political funds to 3 former lawmakers and 1 incumbent lawmaker of the former ruling party, and when a H venture firm, that Mr. Lee was in charge of its M&A, issued private bonds, 4 current opposition lawmakers were involved in the process.``

Rep. Kim also asserted, ``when the current opposition party was the ruling party, Mr. Lee transferred political funds to the core personnel of the party, rather than sending the money by cash. Mr. Kang, who was an executive member of Sejong Investment & Development, and Mr. Kim, who was a high official member of G&G, know the details of the political funds.``

Kwon Chul-Hyun, spokesperson of GNP stated, however, that ``the assertion of Rep. Kim was a lie and was fabricated. It is an attempt to pull us down together by exerting bad impression on the opposition party as well to cover up the dirty authoritative corruption cases.``
