`Korea-Japan friendship should not be damaged`

Korean Ambassador to Japan Choi Sang-Yong said Monday that although the Korean people take the matter very seriously, the controversy over a Japanese history textbook that glosses over Japan`s war crimes should not stand in the way of the friendship between Seoul and Tokyo. Choi was meeting in Tokyo with Korean correspondents after he was recalled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
