Kim to hold dialogue with people Thursday

President Kim Dae-Jung will hold a televised two-hour ``Conversation with the People`` at 7 p.m. Thursday to address a wide range of issues of national concern, including economic matters, inter-Korean relations and political reform.

The program, the second of its kind since the president`s 1998 inauguration, will feature the participation of representatives from various walks of life and be televised by KBS, MBC and SBS, the three major radio-television networks.

During the broadcast, President Kim is expected to assess his first three years in office as successful and pledge to strive for another economic take-off, political stability and a crackdown on corruption and injustice.
