NK leader visits Shanghai Stock Exchange: sources

North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il visited the Shanghai Stock Exchange Wednesday morning, sources in the Chinese city said. The North Korean National Defense Commission chairman reportedly left the bourse at 10:30 a.m. (11:30 a.m. Korean Standard Time). A source said, ``His visit to the stock exchange was confirmed. ¡®However, some traders and employees at the bourse said they did not see Kim. Another source said, ``Rumors had it that Chairman Kim visited the bourse in the morning. We tried, in vain, to confirm it.¡¯¡¯
