Musical ¡°Chicago,¡± a Korean premiere of the Broadway and West End hit, features wits, humor and voluptuous dances in a story of two women jailed for murdering a man, Velma Kelly (Insuni) and Roxie Hart (Choi Jung-Won).

The Korean performance of the musical attracts the spectators with lively music, colorful lighting and group dances covering the whole stage. Choi, playing Roxie, and Heo Jun-Ho as cunning attorney Billy Flynn successfully built their own characters through songs and acting, which looked somewhat stereotyped.

The musical will be staged until Dec. 17 at the Main Theater of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. Show times are 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. For more information, call (02) 577-1987.
