FKI to hold economic forum

The Federation of Korean Industries(FKI) announced that it would hold the Seoul Economic Forum, a two-day international advisory conference on Dec. 12-13, with Singapore`s former Prime Minister Li Kwan-Yu and nine other international political and business leaders participating.

The second FKI international advisory conference will deal with topics about prospects of the Asian economy after the financial crisis, easing tension on the Korean peninsula, the future of East Asia and corporate management in an era of New Economy.

Among the prominent participants are Chun Wean, president of China`s National Development Bank, Harvard University professor Martin Feldstein, Citibank`s vice chairman Ono Luding, BP-Armoco chairman and Goldman Sachs International chairman Peter Sutherland, and Die Zeit editor Teo Zommer.
