The Asia-Europe Meeting(ASEM) is the largest summit meeting ever held in Korea since the establishing the government, with the heads of 10 Asian countries and 15 European nations as well as 3,000 representatives and journalists participating.

They will discuss ways of cooperating in globalization, informationization of knowledge and education-culture.

The heads of participating countries will be staying at the Inter-Continental Hotel, Renaissance, Hyatt, Marriott, Ritz-Carlton and the Hotel Shilla. It is gathering of the largest number of national guests since the 1988 Seoul Olympics. It is a good opportunity to promote themselves, so the hotels are paying close attention to their service.

The Inter-Continental, headquarters for the summit, is to accommodate heads of 12 countries, including those of Japan, Germany and Denmark. They will be staying at Grand and Coex for two nights and three days, Oct. 19 and 21.

The hotel has selected 70 employees for service to the delegates and has been engaged in practicing service for the VIPs since two months ago.
