Prosecution questions medical leader

As part of its ongoing investigation into the second medical sector strike, the Seoul Prosecutor`s Office is questioning Lee Joon-Koo, joint chairman of a doctoral fellows group, who voluntarily appeared at Youngdeung-po police station.

Lee has been charged with leading the doctoral fellows` walkout underway at more than 60 university and general hospitals with joint chairman Yoon Jong-Hyun.

The prosecution is trying induce Yoon to voluntarily appear for questioning, but if he refuses to do so, a warrant for his arrest will be presented.

According to the prosecution, on the second day of the strike, out of 64 university and general hospitals nationwide, 21 were in full walkout mode and 4 were in partial walkout.
