A government official said Monday that a high-level talks, which will be headed by minister-level official, to be held at the end of this month, adding that such talks would be held in Seoul and Pyongyang in turn.At the projected high-level talks, officials will study ways of implementing the June 15 joint declaration agreed at the South-North Korean summit meeting, according to him. He said that agenda of the meeting may include ways to ease tension on the Korean peninsula, peaceful settlement, economic exchanges as well as North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il`s visit to Seoul. He said that details about the projected meeting, including the number of participants and meeting place, haven`t been decided. And they will be fixed through a bilateral meeting which will be arranged soon. "Once we reach an agreement with North Korea on the meeting, there should be working-level channel to discuss such matters," he said. Indicating that any immediate discussion about unification of South and Korea doesn`t seem to fit tothe national sentiment, he said that once there is an atmosphere for high-level talks then the question will be handled by a separate body that may be created at the meeting. He noted that it is inappropriate to talk about it now.
