Rory McIlroy to reportedly get married in April

McIlroy has once again sent out wedding invitations. Golf Channel reported on Thursday that McIlroy and his fiancée Erica Stoll will get married in next April. Their wedding ceremony will be held at Ashford Castle in Ireland, presumably after the Masters Golf Tournament, the first major championship of the PGA tour. They were engaged while on a trip to Paris in last December.

McIlroy was engaged and set to marry tennis star Caroline Wozniacki back in 2014, but the couple called off the wedding right after their invitations were delivered.

He first met Stoll at the 2014 Ryder Cup while he was in a relationship with Wozniack. Stoll was working as a manager of the PGA at the 2014 championship in Medinah. McIlroy was almost late as he misunderstood his singles match tee time and Stoll helped him not to miss his match, and their relationship began.
