Americans hope to revive Princess Diana most among deceased celebrities

The late BritishPrincess Diana has been picked as the figure that Americans wish to revive the most among the deceased celebrities, a survey found. In a phone survey of 1,005 grown-up Americans conducted jointly during July 17-21 by “60 Minutes,” a flagship current affairs show on CBS TV, and Vanity Fair, an entertainment magazine, 35 percent of the respondents picked Princess Diana as the figure who they “hope to revive the most,” Reuters reported on Tuesday. She was followed by Apple founder Steve Jobs (14 percent), pop star Michael Jackson (11 percent), and Whitney Houston (11 percent). Princess Diana died in a traffic accident in Paris, France on August 31, 1997.
