Korea successfully launches Arirang-5 satellite

South Korea’s Arirang-5 satellite was successfully launched from Russia at 11:39 p.m. Thursday (left photo). Researchers at the Korea Aerospace Research Institute cheer as the satellite has successful communication contact with the satellite station in Korea at 5:35 a.m. Friday, 356 minutes after the launch.
