Severe drought has forced birds to change their diet. A grey-backed thrush on Mount Gwanak feeding its young with insects (big photo) is caught by a Dong-A Ilbo camera. The bird normally feeds on earthworms as seen in the small picture taken by photographer Jeon Chang-ryeol last year, but has turned to insects this year because of lack of earthworms due to drought. This has lengthened the period of raising their young by two to three days.
