Thick icicles are formed on a rope at a Han River ferry in Seoul on Christmas Eve Friday, with the daily low falling to minus 15.1 degrees Celsius in the morning. The temperature was the lowest in December since minus 16.2 degrees on Dec. 29, 1980.
