Multi-cultural Award Winners

The Dong-A Multi-cultural Awards with LG, created by The Dong-A Ilbo and LG under the sponsorship of the Gender Equality and Family Ministry, is held at Korea Press Center in downtown Seoul Monday afternoon. From left in the front row are the winners in the multi-cultural family section - Putitai Basukan (Jinju of South Gyeongsang Province), Deungteoyung (Goyang of Gyeonggi Province), and Guyenkimpung (Ulsan of Ulju County). Multi-cultural youth award winners are Yang Jeong-min(Chungang High School in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province) and Kim Chan-woo(Palbok Elementary School in Jeonju), and from the left of the back row are Park Hyo-seok, representative of Busan Asia Community School; Oh Yoon-ja, the head of the Multi-cultural Support Center; Kim Hee-jin, a general manager of a multi-cultural family in Goyang and an award winner in multicultural contribution; Kim Bong-gu, the head of the Foreign Migrant Workers Center in Daejeon; and Hwang Beom-ju, vice principal of Incheon Gajwa High School.
