Anti-whaling Activists

Ady Gil (front) of Sea Shepherd, an organization launched last month to stop whale hunting by Japan, is struck Wednesday by the Japanese security ship Shonan Maru (behind) nearby Antarctica`s Commonwealth Bay. The Ady Gil was greatly damaged despite having a state-of-the-art body and a top speed of 50 knots. Fortunately, all crew members of the vessel were rescued.
