On Dec. 18 last year, lawmakers and staff of the main opposition Democratic Party break down the door to the main hall of the National Assembly to stop the ruling Grand National Party from introducing a motion for ratification of the Korea-U.S. free trade agreement (top). A year later, Democratic Party lawmakers Thursday occupy the chairman’s seat of the National Assembly’s budget and accounting committee while scuffling with ruling party legislators.
