Domed Stadium Site

This is a bird`s eye view (frame-membrane structure) of Korea’s first domed stadium to be built in Gocheok-dong, southwestern Seoul, by September 2011. The government is considering several construction measures including mast structure connecting the roof with strong cords; an air membrane structure in which the dome’s roof is supported by air pressure like the Tokyo Dome; and a frame-membrane structure consisting of frames and membrane materials.
