Ex-N. Korean Spy

Former North Korean spy Kim Hyon-hui, who orchestrated the bombing of Korean Air Flight 858 in 1987, is overwhelmed by emotion as she meets with Koichiro Iizuka, the eldest son of Yaeko Taguchi, a Japanese woman kidnapped by the North in 1978, at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center yesterday. Kim said Taguchi taught her Japanese, and made her first public appearance in 12 years since giving a lecture to prosecutors in charge of national security in May 1997.
