Warm Weather Forecast on College Exam Day

Unlike previous years, warm weather is expected on this year’s College Scholastic Aptitude Test Thursday next week.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said yesterday that the morning low will be three to 12 degrees Celsius and the afternoon high 13 to 19 degrees on test day.

“Though the country is expected to see considerable cloudy skies on the day of the exam, the weather will be mostly mild. Since it will not rain, severe traffic congestion will unlikely occur that day,” a weather forecaster said.

Today is the beginning of winter according to the lunar calendar. The entire nation will be cloudy and the Yeongnam region, South Jeolla Province, Jeju Island and eastern coastal areas will see showers.
