“Freedom for Tibet”

Tibetan exiles fighting for independence protest against Beijing for cracking down Tibetan demonstrators, holding a placard reading, “Freedom for Tibet,” at the Acropolis in Athens where the Beijing Olympic torch arrived on March 29. Some 2,000 policemen were deployed to downtown Athens in case of a sudden outbreak of demonstration, but there was no clash.
