Empty Seats in Main Parliamentary Chamber

The seats of the conservative Grand National Party in the National Assembly’s main chamber remain empty Friday due to its internal feud over candidate nomination for the April general elections. The plenary session held in the afternoon barely met the required quorum of 60 lawmakers.
