Goh San (center), the first South Korean astronaut, and his substitute astronaut Lee So-yeon are waving the Korean national flag, and smiling during a September 10 weightless training session held near Moscow, Russia. Goh is set to hop onto the Russian spacecraft Soyuz on April 8, 2008, which will be launched at the Russian space center in Kazakhstan. Goh will stay at the international space station for about a week to conduct various tests. Lee, the substitute astronaut, has been undergoing the same training regimen as Goh in case a substitution is required.
