Water Is Gone; Only the Buoy Is Left

Due to drought conditions in Guadalajara, Spain, a buoy lies on the ground of a reservoir instead of floating on the water. This picture was taken last August, but the water shortage problem has not been solved yet. The UN announced March 22 as “World Water Day,” which will be dedicated to the theme of “Coping with Water Scarcity.” The UN is seeking ways to tackle this issue via international cooperation.
