Bulbul Food

Hundreds of brown-eared bulbuls flew to a persimmon tree at the entrance of Naejang Temple in Jeongeub City, North Jeolla Province on January 7, when it snowed for the first time this year. The persimmons that Buddhist priests did not pick last fall became food available for the birds, which had not been able to find anything to eat because of the snow. North Jeolla area saw heavy snow on January 6 and 7.
