Whale

On December 15 at an island near the shores of Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, local residents are surrounding a Bryde’s whale with a torso up to 24 meters long. A rare species, the capture of this kind of whale is banned worldwide. The whale was unable to move itself after being pushed by the tides to the shallow shore. Malaysian authorities used several vessels to move the whale into the deep waters of the East China Sea.
