On October 19, Museum Victoria in Australia disclosed the fossil Gogonasus, a fish of the Devonian period around 380 million years ago. Scholars explained that the fossil found in Kimberley, western Australia was the ‘missing link’ in the evolution process of vertebrates in which fish evolved into land animals. The fossil fish has holes in its skull for breathing and well-developed fin bones that has the same form as the bone in human arms.
