Hotel

Tourists are passing by the Jilin Hot Spring Hotel that the Chinese government unilaterally ordered to be dismantled on September 21. The hotel located near a northern Baekdu mountain path was built in 1993 as part of inter-Korean economic cooperation, and turned over to South Koreans in 2003. They were guaranteed its sole ownership and management rights by 2038 and invested $6.99 million or 6.6. billion won in the hotel.
