The eastern iceberg area in the South Pole is revealed to be a maze of grand gorges after icebergs melted down in Antarctica. This 45 km long labyrinthine ravine is dated back to 12 million-14 million years ago when underground icebergs melted down to shape the gorge. Disclosing pictures of the gorge, Boston University warns of the possibility of a recurrent environmental calamity like this if global warming continues.
