Ramses II Awakens

The great statue of King Ramses II stands tall at the magnificent Abu Simbel Temple in Egypt, built into a mountain. Entering the room of large pillars, you will found eight 10-meter-tall statues of the king greeting the “little” people. On each side of the wall are scenes of the great battle that Ramses II fought against the Hittites carved in relief.
