Leading up to the New Years holidays, Kooksoondang Brewery held an event yesterday for newlyweds and foreign couples to experience Korean ancestral memorial services. The event was held at Min-ga-da-hun, a restaurant located in Insa-dong, Seoul. Vice Commissioner Hwang Eui-wook of the Sungkyunkwan Ritual Study Commission explained a variety of memorial service customs, including the meanings behind different types of sacrificial food, and the correct way to partake of it.
