Globalization Protesters

The sixth World Trade Organization ministerial conference opened in Hong Kong on December 13. Liberalizing agricultural, non-agricultural, and service markets are on its agenda this year. Protesters against globalization, including some 1,500 members of workers’ and farmers’ associations from Korea, are marching toward the venue for the meeting.
