Korean Researchers Did Not Apply for U.S. Denizenship

Jane Duffield, a publicist from the University of Pittsburgh, said that there were no changes in the status of the three researchers from Seoul National University as sojourners. She added that the news reports on the University of Pittsburgh to have requested the office of judicial affairs for Korean residents to promptly proceed with the denizenship applications of the Korean researchers were not true.

In the meantime, the University of Pittsburgh has started to investigate into Hwang’s research paper, responding to the request from Schatten, Hwang’s former research partner.
