Professor Kang Jeong-gu held a press conference before he presented himself to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on September 2 and insisted on the abolition of the National Security Law (Left). Liberal and conservative groups staged protests in front of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency building in Jongno-gu, Seoul. They shouted out opposing claims to each other with the police standing in between them.
