Bush Economic Team: Outlook for U.S. Economy “Rosy”

On August 9, President Bush’s economic team, including Vice President Dick Cheney, gathered at Bush’s Crawford ranch in Texas where President George W. Bush is holidaying. They all painted a rosy picture for the U.S. economy. Some people outside the ranch, however, had a different idea because of high oil prices and medical expenses.
