Heavy Rain Is Expected in South Korea on July 28

On July 28, with advisories and warnings for heavy rain issued in some areas in the central and southern parts of the country, some 100mm on average of heavy rain fell across Korea, including Osan, Gyeonggi Province, which had 190.5mm of rain. On the same day in Mopyeong-ri, Jeongmi-myeon, Dangjin-gun, South Chungcheong Province, a farmer was closing irrigation gates of his rice field. “It will stop raining in the central region on the morning of July 29, while 30 to 80mm of heavy rain will continue to fall in the southern area on July 29,” forecasted the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA).
