Charms of the Boryeong Mud Festival

The “Boryeong Mud Festival,” the biggest mud festival of its kind in Korea, started at Daecheon Beach in Boryeong City, Chungnam Province on July 16. Summer visitors and foreign tourists look excited with mud all over their body at Daecheon Beach. The festival, which has been running over the last eight years, developed into an international festival, drawing a huge number of foreign tourists. The festival has a variety of events and is expected to pull in approximately 2.5 million people until July 22, including foreign tourists.
