“I Want to Go Back”

TV actress Hwang Soo-jung, 33, photograph, sent an e-mail to a women’s magazine, saying that she wanted to “restart [her] acting career” and triggering a controversy online.

Hwang recently told a magazine in an e-mail that “I was scared and even had trouble sleeping, but I couldn’t let go of my love for acting over the past three-and-a-half years. I want to restart my acting career for the one last time.” Rumors have abounded that she would make a comeback.

Hwang added, “I’ve had offers but turned them down, thinking it wasn’t the right time. But now, all I want to do is to act. I’ll be discussing with close actors on working with them in a soap opera or a film.”
