The Hiroshima High Court decided on January 19 that the Japanese government and Mitsubishi Heavy Industry are responsible for the compensation for the 40 Korean nuclear victims who were compulsorily drafted to Hiroshima. This is the first time that the Japanese court has decided on compensation for victims living outside of Japan. The nuclear victims including Shin Geun-soo (middle in the first row) are holding the portraits of the victims who were killed during the bombing.
