In the 2005 college entrance exam, scheduled to take place in November, the EBS Internet lecture, as well as its materials, are likely to be reflected.

The Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development announced yesterday that it is negotiating with the Korea Institute of Curriculum & Evaluation on whether to reflect the contents of the EBS online lecture when setting questions for the college entrance exam, aiming to stop private institutes from using copies published for the EBS online lectures.

In addition, the ministry is now considering announcing how to reflect the online lectures into the exam in a precise way.

As a result, those preparing for the exam have to sincerely watch the EBS online lecture and also try their best not to miss them.

Also, this will place another burden on the authors because they should refer to the contents of the EBS lectures within a short period of time.

The ministry promised to improve the visual quality of the lectures by upgrading the current online lectures with a speed of 300kbps to 500 kbps, starting from the popular ones.

The ministry and EBS have decided to crystallize a Q&A section by establishing the LMS (Learning Management System) from July this year, in which students will be able to ask questions directly to lecturers through the Internet. Also, they agreed to diversify the lecture times from the current 50 minutes to 30 or 40 minutes and encourage the lecturers to improve their teaching skills.
