A Wretched Scene

On November 29, two Japanese diplomats were shot near Tikrit, north of Baghdad, and seven agents of the National Intelligence Center were assassinated near the south of Baghdad. They were killed by ambushed assailants. The burned trucks and dead bodies were displayed on television, and a growing number of people in Spain are demanding “a withdrawal from Iraq.”
