Choi Do-sul Delivered 100 Million Won to Chauffer

The Supreme Public Prosecutor`s Office, currently investigating the “SK Slush Fund” case announced on October 29 that they are searching for clear evidence and the method of how 100 million won out 1.1 billion won worth of CD given to former Blue House staff, Choi Do-sul, by SK Group was delivered to President Roh’s former chauffer, Sun Bong-sul (57).

A long-time friend of Roh, Sun was once listed as the president of Jang Soo Chun, a bottled-water company Roh invested in during Nov. 1998.

Based on the confession of Choi, the prosecution called Sun in as a witness and questioned him on how much money he received from Choi and for what purpose and also where it actually went.

It is said that the prosecution is currently examining whether the money has any links to Jang Soo Chun or the president.

Moon Hyo-nam of the prosecutor’s office said, “Although Choi claims that he was merely sharing the money with Sun because he is a close friend, we are trying to figure out if Jang Soo Chun is involved in this case and how the money was delivered.”
