Woori Bank and Samsung Life will compete for 2003 Women`s Professional Basketball Summer League Champion Trophy.

Woori Bank defeated Shinsegye 67 – 58 winning 2 consecutives matches in the 2nd game of the semi-final playoff game held in Chuncheon Lakeside Gymnasium on the 1st, advancing to the Finals. Woori Bank will play against Samsung Life that advanced to the final games by winning the games against Hyundai from the 5th, 5 games in which 3 prior victories to be the champion.

This is the 3rd time these 2 teams match against each other at the finals. Samsung won 2001 winter league 3 – 1, but Woori responded back by grabbing the championship 3 – 1 in 2003 Winter League.
