Restoration of Chunggye Overpass Kicks Off

Attended by Seoul government officials including mayor Lee Myung-bak, the groundbreaking ceremony of Chunggye Overpass restoration project was held in Janggyo-dong, Seoul at 2:00 p.m. on July 1. The project aims at restoration of Chunggye Stream of the past by removing the overpass, which has been a symbol of industrial development.
