Benefits for Mobile Phone Membership Will Reduce

The discounts benefits provided by the mobile phone companies and its` partners will be decreased tremendously. According to this measure, objections by customers in teens and 20s age group who are majority in the mobile phone membership will be expected. Currently, the membership exceeds over 10 millions.

On 15th January, the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) has announced that user stipulation contract with this new content has been received from three major mobile phone companies and will be put in to effect from this month.

▽ Discount benefits will given according to the phone usage = Till now, subscribers have received benefits from particular membership such as TTL and NA. But from this month the discount benefit`s limit will differ by the mobile phone usage.

▽ Membership fees will be balanced from subscriber mileage = So far, there was no membership fee, but now membership fees will be subtracted from the subscriber mileage. It will be a loss if the subscribers do not take advantage of benefit services, so it is recommended to consider the usage of the benefit services before applying to memberships.

▽ Miscellaneous = So far, mobile phone subscribers were automatically admitted to particular memberships by selection of different phone pay rate system. From now on, subscribers can freely choose various type of membership by deciding upon what type of benefits they want. Golf & Stock investment packages (SK Telecom`s Leaders` Club), Skin care & cosmetic surgery packages (KTF Drama) and other possible over expenditure packages are excluded from benefit services.
