KT Selects CEO for New `KTF` through Open Competition

KT announced on January 3 that it has decided to select a chief executive officer (CEO) for `KTF`, a newly merged affiliate between KTF and KTICOM, through open competition.

The nation’s largest telecoms carrier will post an advertisement on January 4 on major daily newspapers and receive applications for four days from January 6 through 9. Applicants will go through a document evaluation and an interview test. A winner will take office at the time of the launch of the new business.

KTF and KTICOM clinched a merger deal on December 20 last year and are set to launch a new entity `KTF` on March 1 after getting a go-ahead from KTF board meeting and KTICOM shareholder meeting.
