Absurd and Exhilarating ‘Adolescence Sex’

After the preview of movie ‘Mongjung-gi’, reaction of audience was different regarding their sex life.

The movie expresses sexual curiosity of teenager boy students as much as it reminds audience of ‘sexual harassment’ towards women.

Students of teacher Gong Byung-cheol (Lee Bum-soo), Dong-hyuk (Noh Hyung-uk), Suk-goo (Jeon Jae-hyung), Sang-min (Jung Dae-hun), Young-Jae (Ahn Jae-hong) are close friends.

Whenever they gather up, they chat, saying, “what genitals of women are like?”, “how would be the feeling of sex”? They fantasize Yu-ree (Kim Sun-ah), who came to school as a practice teacher, and love affair of Yu-ree and Byung-cheol becomes another episode in the movie.

The movie ‘Mongjung-gi’ shows aspect of teenager boys who have confusion regarding sex. The part that they are embarrassed due to sexual curiosity makes people smile.

However, the movie gives somehow reluctance as it exaggerates sexual curiosity of boy students who are in ‘Mongjung-gi’ (nocturnal pollution).

Scenes that excited boys solve out their sexual desire by piercing plastic noodle bowl, imagining sexual scenes by putting hands in the middle of Cham-oi and explaining woman’s genitals seeing hard-shelled mussel (Hong-hab), are not appropriate to its grade, ‘allowed above 15-year-old’.

The movie targets only ‘sex’ in the beginning, but it becomes ‘growth movie’ peeling the cover of ‘sex comedy’ in latter half.

It is seen in the scene that Dong-hyun, who loves Yu-ree, puts on effort to make good relationship between Byung-cheol and Yu-ree and treats friend who were trying to insult her badly.

Dong-hyun realizes the meaning of true love through Yu-ree, overcoming dimension of curiosity on woman’s body. It is a memorable scene that Suk-goo, who came to the school where Yu-ree works, as a practice teacher, after 10 years, and gets embarrassed by students mischief’s.

People burst into laughter as singer Ssa-yi takes part in the movie as an adult Suk-goo.

It opens on the 6th, the examination date for entering university, targeting student audience.
